Because induction cooktops use electromagnetic energy to generate heat, they work only with cookware made of iron or magnetic gauges of steel. Many of the cookware we carry are made of clay and therefore do not work on induction cooktops, however, by using an Induction Cooktop Interface Disk you are able to use our clay cookware on induction cookware. In fact with these Interface Disk you can use any non-ferrous cookware on induction cookware including aluminum, glass, copper, porcelain and stainless steel.
The Max Burton 6010 Induction Interface Disk, has a durable stainless-steel construction with an aluminum core for speedy heat distribution with a heat proof rubber handle.
How we measure
To use, simply place the Interface Disk on an induction cooktop then place any cookware on top.
The Interface Disk is dishwasher safe and can be placed in the dishwasher for cleaning. For hand washing, use a soft cloth and do not use harsh brushes or scouring pads as they can damage the surface.
